Find a couple that overcomes all odds and have gone to the ends of the earth to be there for another - you'll find Trey and Melinda. They astound me still with their relentless effort and dedication to another after all these years of being together.. what a beautiful and joyful ceremony it was to see that love affirmed by fellow friends and family at their wedding day. Not to mention, it was under a willow tree - such a romantic setting to vow yourself to another for eternity.
This year, I have found myself booked mostly with small, intimate weddings and have found my passion in that laidback, easy-going, joyful setting to shoot in. Maybe someday I'll cap myself to weddings under 100 guests, but for now, I'll settle at being a huge advocate for them (although I know how it is to have a giant family you feel obligated to invite.) Make time for the family and friends you truly want to celebrate this season of life with - it's hard to mingle with 300+ guests at your wedding without feeling drained meanwhile trying to take in and remember the day for yourself.. it can be so fleeting! Something I admire that these two opted for on their wedding day.
